So, as if I’m not busy enough already, I’m starting a sewing blog.  I’ve been writing a food blog since 2008 and I also have a little knitting blog, so why not a sewing blog? Blogs are a great place to have a record of the work that you are doing and to share ideas and projects.

I’ve been quilting a lot lately but also make all kinds of other items like pouches, bins, bags and coasters.  When I started sewing years ago when my husband bought me my first sewing machine, you had to buy sewing books and patterns in the store.  Now, with the internet, the amount of information, instruction and patterns that is available to anyone is simply amazing.  Online fabric shops have absolutely changed how I shop for fabric – they make it so fun to browse fabrics by colors, themes, designers and collections.  It’s a great time to be a sewer!
